कभी एक चाय की चुस्की में मुस्कान मिल जाती है,

हिंदी साहित्य में एम ए उत्तीर्ण करने के पश्चात श्रीमती स्मृति श्रीवास्तव ने अपना सम्पूर्ण समय हिन्दी एवं भारतीय संस्कृति के प्रचार प्रसार को समर्पित किया। इनका दृढ़ विश्वास है कि भाषा, कला और परंपरा का भविष्य युवा पीढ़ी के योगदान पर निर्भर है तथा इसी विचार को साकार करने के लिए इन्होंने अध्यापिका के रूप में नई दिल्ली के सेंट थॉमस स्कूल में विभिन्न वर्गों का हिंदी तथा संस्कृत में 20 वर्ष मार्गदर्शन किया है।

“अंतर्मन के दीप” काव्य संग्रह की कविताओं में इन्होंने जीवन के सभी पहलुओं को उजागर करने का प्रयत्न किया है उसमें भक्ति रस की कविताएं, प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य का वर्णन तथा देशप्रेम की भावनाओं से सिंचित शौर्य गाथाओं के साथ साथ महिला सशक्तिकरण तथा प्रकृति के दोहन शोषण की पीड़ा तथा बदलते सामाजिक परिवेश से संबंधित भावनाओं पर भी कविताएं हैं।इसके पहले लेखिका के ‘ प्रतिबिंब ‘ अभिव्यक्ति ‘ तथा अन्तर्ध्वनि शीर्षक से तीन एकल काव्य संग्रह प्रकाशित हो चुके हैं।
लेखिका एशियन लिटररी सोसायटी परिवार से अपनी कविताओं तथा चित्रों की भागीदारी के साथ वर्षों से जुड़ी हुई हैं और उसके वार्षिक सम्मेलनों में भी भाग लेती रही हैं। लेखिका हिंदी साहित्य सम्मेलन, काव्य कला मंच, लम्हे जिंदगी के, द न्यू भारत काव्यांजलि, अखिल भारतीय सर्वभाषा संस्कृति समन्वय समिति आदि संस्थाओं से जुड़ी हुई हैं और विभिन्न अवसरों पर सम्मानित होती रही हैं।
